Ilze, l’interview à LISAA Nantes

What’s going on : Hello Ilze, can you  present yourself briefly ?

Ilze : Hello I’m Ilze and I come from Belgium.

WGO : What is your job ?

Ilze : I’m teacher of architecture in the Thomas Moore’s School near Anvers two or three days per weeks.

WGO : How did you learn about LISAA ?

Ilze : I was in the Erasmus project and I learn a lot of things about Nantes, the Machines obviously and the architecture of Nantes.

WGO : What did you think about it ? Are you disappointed ?

Ilze : No, not at all. There is a lot of interesting architecture in the city as the university of architecture (ENSA) or the Maison radieuse. I find the interaction between the buildings and the vegetation as in the Ile de Nantes very interesting and very pretty.

Edita Sabockyté-Skudiené: Hello I‘m Edita, I come from Lithuania and I work at the Vilnius college of design.

WGO: What is your job?

Edita: Actually I work at the head of the fashion design department and I’m the teacher of fashion history in the same school.

WGO: How did you learn about the school LISAA?

Edita:  I got to know Corélia with the Erasmus project and because she works at LISAA, she contacted me for the workshop. It’s a good experience for the students

WGO: Is there a difference between Lithuanian and French students in their work?

Edita: You know, I think it’s the problem with this generation and the Internet. We want our students to go to the library and do their research with books. With the internet, they just push the button and they have a lot of information. It’s great of course, but it’s a shame, we want our students to work differently.

La tension commence à monter ! Tous les ateliers s’attaquent à la réalisation de leurs projets, transformant les salles en grand chantier. Même chose pour nous à What’s going on. On ne cesse de courir dans tous les sens pour capter la moindre image ou phrase de cet événement. Soyez prêts pour demain, quatrième journée du workshop qui s’annonce des plus intenses.

J2_Cogitations… Agitations… Créations !

Les recherches sont au cœur de ce second jour à Nantes. Tous les groupes ont terminé leurs cogitations. Et là, c’est l’agitation… Des pistes de création très variées pour des projets comme  dans l’atelier « Playlist » : retranscription de l’univers graphique de groupes de musique :  Die Antwoord ou The Doors… Réalisation de timelapses (images accélérées) dans le groupe « Paysage sonore ». Bref, la majorité des créations sont lancées.  D’autres ne commenceront la réalisation que mercredi.  il faudra donc attendre demain pour en voir plus…

Et qu’en est-il de vos chers reporters ? Toujours là à commenter cette semaine intense et à vous informer des moindres faits et gestes durant ce workshop. A demain pour plus d’information, plus d’images, plus de bruits…

J1_ The Day 1 à Nantes!

C’est parti pour le workshop LISAA à Nantes ! Une semaine de travail, de réflexions, d’échanges mais aussi de joies et de larmes. Tous ont rejoint leur groupe et travaillent d’arrache-pied, du rythme, du rythme, et encore du rythme !! L’atelier « Orages »  développe une production plastique autour de ce mot ou encore l’atelier « Mémoire » qui travaille à la conception d’une scénographie pour la pièce « Anges » qui sera jouée par la compagnie Metis .

Bien entendu vos serviteurs reporters suivront l’événement de près et vous tiendront au courant de ce qui se passe. Bon courage à tous pour cette semaine qui s’annonce sonore et lumineuse !
